Privacy policy

Who we are
LookCraft is the app and service at lookcraft.app. For anything about your privacy, write to support@lookcraft.app.
What we collect
- Your account: your email address and a unique account ID, from signing in with Google, Apple or email and password. We never see your password.
- Your closet: what you add: photos of your pieces and their details (category, colours, materials, brand, size, purchase date and price, tags, notes), your looks, boards, inspiration images and when you wear things.
- Usage statistics, only if you agree: anonymous counts of which screens are opened and which buttons are tapped, collected with Google Firebase Analytics. They contain no account ID, no advertising ID and nothing you type or add. You choose on first launch and can change it any time in You → Privacy.
AI features
When you ask for outfit ideas, or add or tidy a piece photo, the app sends the relevant photos and details to Google's Gemini AI to produce the result. For outfit ideas this means the photos of your pieces, their description (category, colours, material, brand, size, tags), and the inspiration image, board notes and colours you chose. Prices, purchase dates and your email are not sent. Removing the background from a photo happens on your phone.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data, we do not show ads based on it, and we do not collect your location or contacts.
Why we use your data
- To provide the app and your account: because you asked us to (contract).
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse: our legitimate interest.
- For usage statistics: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in You → Privacy.
Who handles it for us
Google (sign-in, analytics and AI), Apple (if you use Apple sign-in), Railway (servers and database) and Cloudflare (photo storage). Some of them process data outside the EU under the safeguards they provide, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete your data from our systems. See how to delete your account.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent. Most of this is in the app (You tab); for anything else write to support@lookcraft.app. You can also complain to Portugal's data protection authority, the CNPD (cnpd.pt).
Children
LookCraft is not meant for children under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above and tell you in the app for significant changes.
